Why I Switched (Almost) Everything to Kajabi and Simplified My Business

As someone who helps coaches and course creators build their online businesses using Kajabi, you’d think I’d have made the switch to Kajabi for my own business a long time ago. But until recently, I had my website on WordPress, I was using Dubsado for my CRM, and my email marketing was set up through Kit (formerly ConvertKit).
There was no particular reason as to why I wasn’t using Kajabi for my own business apart from the fact that I haven’t ventured into creating my own courses – yet! I was very happy with the tools I had in place for my business, and still recommend these as great options for many coaches, course creators and entrepreneurs.
However, that all changed when I realized how much simpler and more cost-effective it could be to run everything under one roof after Kajabi introduced their Kickstarter Plan earlier this year. So, after working in Kajabi for clients since 2020, I made the leap earlier this year to switch almost everything over to Kajabi. Today, I am sharing with you the top reasons why I decided to make this switch.
3 Reasons Why I Switched (Almost) Everything to Kajabi
I still love Kit and believe it’s a great email marketing platform, however also love being able to log into one place and access everything.
#1 - Simplified Business Processes
One of the main reasons I decided to switch most areas of my business to Kajabi is for the simplicity that Kajabi offers many entrepreneurs. Running an online business means managing several moving parts—a website, landing pages, email marketing, payment processing, CRM, scheduling client calls, hosting courses and memberships, a community base for your students, etc.
The main tools that I switched to Kajabi included:
- Website and Landing pages from Wordpress
- CRM and Payment processing from Dubsado
- Email Marketing from Kit (formerly ConvertKit)
I no longer need to hop from one tool to another or worry about potential tech glitches caused by third-party integrations. With Kajabi, I now have a central hub for my business. One place, one login, to access my website and landing pages, email marketing, client communication and calls, payment processing, plus the unlimited possibilities of growth when it’s time to add a course, membership, or community to my business plans.
Not everyone loves this idea of an all-in-one platform, however, I truly believe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks – and this is one of the reasons why I am a huge fan of Kajabi. Having the main pieces of my business under one platform means fewer headaches, more time for my client work, and a streamlined process that lets me focus on delivering value rather than managing multiple tools in multiple places.
#2 - "Walk the Talk" for My Clients
One of our main services at Tiel Virtual Solutions is helping coaches and course creators build and grow their businesses using Kajabi. So, it only made sense to start using the platform myself. There was no real reason I hadn’t done it before – other than not taking the time to truly analyze the benefits for my own business.
